History[]
The Waterfront is a dangerous neighborhood, opposed to the ritzy Brooklyn Heights. It had cheap hotels, brothels, and sleazy clip-joints, founded by the Tattaglia crime family in the 1940s and 50s. The waterfront was taken over in 1955 in the Bombing of the Tattaglia Compound during the Five Families War by the Trapani crime family.
