Cristoval Vallecillo was a Capo of the Sinaloa Cartel.
Biography[]
Cristoval Vallecillo was born in Monterrey, Mexico in 1965. He was born to a poor family, and Vallecillo made money by joining the Sinaloa Cartel in 1989. Vallecillo assisted in the purchase of weapons from United States weapons smugglers from Imperial County and Riverside County to the north of Los Angeles County, California. His operations earned the Sinaloa Cartel a steady flow of weapons and ammunition, and he became a Capo in 2008 due to his earnings.
However, in 2013 the government of Mexico cracked down on organized crime in the city of Parral, Chihuahua after a civilian reported that a huge house party was taking place at a mansion there. Mexican federal police, backed up by five armored cars, two helicopters, and 100 Mexican Marines, assaulted the mansion after surveillance footage from a hidden camera planted on a roof window showed that armed men were present. Vallecillo and fifteen of his men were holed in the gunfight, weakening his arms ring.
