Biography[]
Emilio Brunetti was born to an Italian-American family, and he owned Emilio's Butcher Shop in Little Italy. The Tattaglia crime family forced him to pay tribute to Don Philip Tattaglia and to allow Frankie Fernetti to run a gambling operation on the second floor of his establishment, and Brunetti paid the Tattaglias every day. He was formerly associated with Luca Brasi, and in August 1945 Brasi sent Aldo Trapani to convince Brunetti to pay his dues to the Corleone crime family. Trapani destroyed his property, forcing Brunetti to pay tribute money to the Corleones.
