The Forest Hills Mob were a syndicate of the Jewish Mob led by Isaac Roth, who was a Hasidic Jewish diamond dealer. His henchman Mori Green, an Orthodox Jew, was also a diamond dealer, and the diamond trade became one of their major fronts. They were based in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Central Park, New York City, but their turf was in Forest Hills in NYC's Queens borough. They arranged for a deal with the Pegorino crime family in the Smithsonian Museum in 2008, where they would buy a load of diamonds that had made their way from the hands of the Bulgarin crime family to the Pegorinos due to the intervention of The Lost MC, who oversaw the safety of the deal. The deal was almost complete when Luis Lopez shot Green through the heart and provoked a giant shotout, as he sought to take the diamonds back for Tony Prince, one of their owners. The mob was nearly wiped out in the museum shootout, and Isaac returned to his base at the Ritz-Carlton, where he blamed the Pegorinos for the ambush. Pegorino capo Ray Boccino promptly sent his hitman Niko Bellic to kill Roth and his crew at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, and all of the Jewish mobsters there were killed. Without a leader, they were confined to Forest Hills, where they were on the defense.
