James Scaleri was a Caporegime/Enforcer/Consigliere of the O'Donnell crime family and the twin brother of Ray Scaleri. The two brothers were assassinated in 1948.
Biography
James and his brother Ray Scaleri were born twins in Chicago, Illinois in 1905. The two became mob enforcers under the Chicago Outfit's O'Donnell crime family puppets, and worked as hitmen for boss Patrick O'Donnell. In the 1940s they served a jail sentence for their murders before they headed to New York City with the family. When they were released, they planned to get revenge for the murder of Patrick by Aldo Trapani.But James Became Primary High-Ranking Enforcer
Death
The Scaleri brothers drove a truck around Columbus Circle in Midtown, leaving to fight against the Stracci crime family. Trapani reached them before they could attack the Straccis and the two died in one explosion, dying together.
