Pietro Testa was a Caporegime of the Barzini crime family alongside His Two friend Big Bobby Roberto Toro and Giovanni Armanno and he was Underboss of Mariposa crime family and Pietro Testa was cousin of Dante Marcelini.
Biography[]
Testa was a native of Mistretta, Sicily, moving to the United States after being helped foundation of Mariposa crime family, after Mariposa crime family was destroyed and Pietro Testa was joined Barzini crime family who visited the island to recruit some members for the Barzini crime family; he was the link between USA and Italy. Testa started out as a hired assassin who was involved in several hit contracts during Prohibition and was promoted to Soldier in 1935 for his various takes-over of rackets belonging to the Corleone crime family. Testa was made Caporegime following the murder of Johnny Trapani in 1936, alongside his cousin called Dante Marcelini, and Testa was later put out of the hitman business after Vito Corleone swore revenge for Trapani. Testa instead worked with the NYPD, securing police protection for the Barzinis.
Death[]
In 1953, Testa underwent a shady deal with Little Italy police chief Sean Finnigan in a plot to remove the Corleone crime family's police protection. Testa met with the Chief of Police under an arch in Midtown Manhattan, surrounded by police cruisers, and as they were shaking hands, Aldo Trapani shot him in the head with a pistol.
