Provenzano Porco was a mobster of the Sicilian Mafia and was an underboss in the Mangano crime family from 1940 to 1959, when he was murdered by the Corleone crime family in the Mangano War.

Porco was born in Castellammare del Golfo, a town in the province of Trapani, in Sicily, that gave rise to various mobsters of the era. Porco moved to America in 1930. Porco, unlike many other Italian-Americans, moved to Miami, rather than New York City. Porco joined the Mangano crime family in 1936, becoming a soldato in the family. By 1940, he had become an underboss and had been granted his own territories in Sicily and Florida. Porco later moved to New York at the request of Don Samuele Mangano, who wanted him to operate Mangano's businesses there. Porco's hideout was the oil depot in Queens near the JFK International Airport, and remained there during the Mangano War. The Manganos fought the Corleone crime family, Porco conducting operations against the Corleones in New York from his hangout. To send a message to the Mangano crime family, Dominic threw Porco off the ledge of an oil container in the depot, after having killed his bodyguards. His body and those of his bodyguards were discovered by the NYPD a few hours after the shooting.
