
Nick Rizzuto
The Rizzuto crime family are an Italian-Canadian organized crime syndicate that operate in Montreal, Canada, as a part of the Canadian Mafia. It was founded during the Sicilian-Calabrian War of the 1970s, where the Cotroni crime family split into the Sicilian Rizzutos and the Calabrian Cotronis. Ever since then, they fought the Cotronis with aid from the Bonnano crime family of the United States.

The Rizzuto Clan were led by Nick Rizzuto at the time of the Sicilian-Calabrian War of the 1970s, whose son Vito Rizzuto took control of the Canadian set of the Rizzutos. The Rizzuto family were originally a part of the Calabrian Mafia but split off as the "Sicilian Faction" of the Cotroni crime family, and the two families fought in both Montreal and in Sicily. They allied with the Bonnano crime family, Hells Angels, Cuntrera-Caruana crime family, and West End Gang, while fighting the Cotronis.
