The Joker (real name Phillip Cuneo Jr.) is an Italian born-American clown mobster and the second son of Don Phillip Cuneo, founder of the Cuneo crime family. After falling into a vat of chemicals (temi-cals?) at Axe Chemicals in the Gothic part of New York City, leaving him with green hair, white skin and red lips, he went completely bananas and started incorporating circus-based themes into the crime family.

Joker is the second son of Don Cuneo, despite being the Jr., and he fell into a vat of chemicals one unfortunate night. This gave him the appearance, and also the mind, of a crazed clown. If he wasn't cratsee b4, he sure was now. He utilises his extensive and expensive arsenal of weapons to terrorise the good city of New York, which includes: machine guns, Tommy gums, laughing gas, farting gas, and an electric hand-buzzer. He was once captured and put into the Arkham Asylum, where he convinced his licensed psychiatrist named Harleen Quinnzel to fall in love with him as he got quite the clowny charm, plus Harleen was never much into psychiatry anyway. She renamed herself Harley Quinn and supposedly became the Underboss in the family. The pair, at the Asylum, slowly began to build themselves Joker's Gang.
