Antonio "Tony" Bianchi was a Capo in the Tattaglia crime family.

Biography[]

Bianchi was friends with Philip Tattaglia since their boyhood days in Brooklyn, and became involved in prostitution in the 1930s, taking more than a "professional" interest, but also a personal one. Bianchi became a Capo as the Don's right hand man and worked as a captain of a crew that included Mikey Saleri, working as the manager of the St. Sebastian Hotel. Bianchi was driven into despair when Saleri was murdered by the Corleone crime family in the Sollozzo Intrigue of 1945 and Bianchi swore vengeance, so Corleone Capo Salvatore Tessio sanctioned a hit on him, carried out by rising family member Aldo Trapani.

Death[]

Bianchi made time with prostitute Giancarla Isotzo in her room on the third floor while a few soldati in his crew guarded him. Trapani snuck upstairs and killed them all with the infamous Italian rope, the garrote wire, and strangulated Bianchi in a similar fashion. The hooker pointed Trapani out to Bianchi as the rope tightened, but it was too late. Trapani told him that "I wanted you to hear the voice of your killer" to taunt the choking Bianchi, who responded "You're so funny that I think I'll kick your ass". However, he was immobile as he voided his bowels and was left with a hideous, suffocated, face on the floor of the hotel as Trapani left the crime scene.
