The Vialpando Cartel, better known as the Colombian Cartel, were a Colombian-American drug trafficking organization based in New York City. Led by Catalina Vialpando and Miguel Ramirez, the Vialpando Cartel was allies with the Uptown Yardies (at times) and enemies with the Kasen Yakuza, Leone crime family, New York Triads, and the Uptown Yardies (occasional street clashes).
History[]

The Yakuza fighting the Colombians
The Vialpando Cartel originated as a Colombian-American street gang in New York City that was led by Miguel Ramirez and Cisco as of 1998, when they began their production of the new SPANK drug, which flooded the streets of New York that year. By 2001, Catalina Vialpando became the co-leader of the cartel with Miguel, and she made enemies with several organized crime families and street gangs in the city. Catalina's former lover and personal enemy Claude Speed weakened the cartel by assassinating Kasen Yakuza Waka-Gashira Kenji Kasen, falsely linking Miguel to his death to drive real estate prices up for Donald Love. A gang war was started, and they fought against the Yakuza in a bitter war. Meanwhile, they clashed frequently with the Uptown Yardies at the border of Little Italy and the Financial District although the two gangs were allied, and the Colombian Cartel was severely weakened when Catalina killed Miguel for submitting to interrogation at the hands of Yakuza leader Asuka Kasen (who was killed alongside Miguel), and when Claude finally killed Catalina at a dam. After her death, a less-competent leader took charge of the weakened cartel, which was frequently engaged in gang shootouts with the Jamaicans.
